KETAAKETI principle:

100% of your donations go to the projects!

How does this work?

All active KETAAKETI team members work for free and finance the costs themselves. This is supported with the help of donors who, for example, donate specifically for travel costs and public relations work. This also includes the fees for the various payment options that may apply to your donation.

How microfinance supports start-ups and how children can attend school:

The KETAAKETI model: Our partner organizations provide interest-free microfinancing. With the small starting amount of €100, families in the poorest regions of the world can build a livelihood and thus enable their children to attend school. A sustainable model, because KETAAKETI does not receive the microfinance amounts back. After successful start-up assistance, they will be passed on to the next family in a self-determined manner.

A one-time boost becomes a positive development that continues to grow: village after village, generation after generation.

School attendance is also supported slightly financially as required - in regionally and culturally different forms and individually agreed - and supplemented by preventive health care

Nuela from Burundi:

"Life here is very difficult. With some money I could start a business in the market. It would also be good to have some land that I would farm. ... Yes, we are poor, but we can do something if someone helps us and hear our voices. It would help lead a better life and prevent our children from having to drop out of school."
