Public relation

The central concern is to give the people in the poorest countries a voice here with us, to report on their living situation and on the KETAAKETI model and to call for global responsibility. This includes press and media work, lobbying, acquisition and organization of lectures and events, maintenance of the homepage and Instagram, creation of the newsletter, work with photos, films and texts.

Regional KETAAKETI groups

in Bremen and Varel meet for a regular exchange, plan and organize lectures, benefit concerts, photo exhibitions and other events as well as local press work. They inform the public about the situation in the partner countries and the development in the projects and make a significant contribution to recruiting members and donors. In addition to your cooperation, it is also possible to set up new teams in your place of residence.

Acquisition team

Recruitment of staff, members, donors and cooperations as well as support groups for fundraising and expansion of the supporter network. The contributions from Germany are the basis for financing the projects in the partner countries. Their acquisition is therefore of the utmost importance for the partnership between KETAAKETI and the partner organizations in the poorest countries.

School team

Initiation and support of contacts to schools in Germany with the goal of a long-term partnership. In addition to financial support (e.g. through donation runs, bazaars, festivals), this partnership is particularly about cultural and social exchange and opportunities to get to know different ways of life (e.g. through project weeks, lectures and video interviews). This is based on the idea of a global network of schoolchildren and young people from rich and poor, in order to practice a new way of thinking about connectedness and responsibility and to convey meaning and the ability to contribute to young people.

Country team

Anneli-Sofia Raecker, as the initiator and first chairperson of KETAAKETI, initiates new partnerships in other countries together with the team of country coordinators. The country team accompanies existing cooperations permanently and reliably and is responsible for reporting on the situation in the countries and the developments in the projects, both to the public and to the team as a whole. The country team develops the cooperative partnership network in constant exchange with each other - in particular with expert support from the respective countries.

Intercultural communication

Experts  for processes of intercultural communication accompany the internal and public work of KETAAKETI from an intercultural perspective, e.g. by conducting workshops and school events with direct contact to school classes in Nepal via Skype, raising awareness and understanding for other cultures and their everyday life and much more.
